FameLab Academy Competition
Year 9 FameLab Academy competition finalists - judges listened to their short speeches on a scientific topic of their choice, and eventually awarded 1st place to Benito Muszasty. Vincent Botha and Isaac Vale were runners up, and also highly commended were finalists Emily Jenkins, Stephen Fisher and Georgia Owen.02nd February 2016

On 18th January, Year 8 took part in an exciting murder mystery day. They analysed a crime scene, wrote a newspaper report, used digital recorders for interviews and studied a lot of classic texts.

Year 9-11 Battlefields Visit to Ypres and the Somme
A group of 45 students from Years 9-11 recently visited some of the First World War Battlefield sites and memorials in France and Belgium, including Thiepval, Vimy, and Tyne Cot. These sites and many others played host to battles which claimed thousands of lives. TK students read a poem, laid a memorial wreath and held a minute's silence.29th February 2016
