History
Lesson time and grouping |
Students are taught in History for 3 lessons a fortnight. They are not set in History and are taught in mixed groups. |
Homework |
Homework in History is set once per fortnight, lasting up to 30 minutes in Years 7 and 8, and 30 to 45 minutes in Year 9. |
Assessment |
Students will sit one formal exam in the school’s exam weeks for each of Year 7 (May), Year 8 (March) and Year 9 (January). In addition to day-to-day formative assessments, students are assessed summatively in these ways:
