Art
Lesson time and grouping |
Year 7+8 are taught once per week. Year 9 are taught three times a fortnight. All groups are taught in mixed ability groupings. |
Homework |
Homework is set once a fortnight and should take about 30 minutes per homework. |
Assessment |
Formative, diagnostic assessment is ongoing. Self-assessment takes place once a term through reflective target setting. Summative assessment is through the annual exam which takes place over six weeks, working to a shared, explicit criteria. No revision is required, though homework in this period will be integrated into the exam outcome. |
