Year 9-11 Battlefields Visit to Ypres and the Somme

A group of 45 students from Years 9-11 visited some of the First World War Battlefield sites and memorials in France and Belgium, including Thiepval, Vimy, and Tyne Cot.  These sites and many others played host to battles which claimed thousands of lives.  TK students read a poem, laid a memorial wreath and held a minute's silence.

Curriculum

Thomas Keble School believes in the need for all students to have a broad and balanced curriculum. The development of independent learning skills, both to advance immediate objectives and to establish the basis for life-long learning is central to our work. Find our KS3 and KS4 curriculum below:

OFSTED (2009) rated the curriculum as “good” and described the extra-curricular programme as “impressive”, and since that report the level of provision in all aspects of our work has been further enhanced.
